About the easy German Cucumber Salad
This classic salad has been with me since childhood and was often served as a side dish with a portion of meat or fish.
I personally prefer to prepare the salad with dill and sour cream, as it gives a creamy taste.
In addition, the dill gives the salad a refreshing note, which is why I enjoy it especially in the summer as a side dish to the barbecue.

How To Make Creamy Cucumber Salad
Step 1
First, rinse the cucumbers thoroughly with water and then slice them thinly with a kitchen grater.
Alternatively, you can also cut the cucumbers into small pieces with a kitchen knife. Then put the cucumbers in a colander, sprinkle with salt and let them steep for a few minutes. Drain the liquid from the cucumbers.
Step 2
Now we start with the cucumber salad dressing. For this, put dill in a bowl and then add sour cream, white wine vinegar and olive oil. Mix everything together and add salt and pepper.
Step 3
Finally, just mix the cucumber slices with the dressing and your cucumber salad with sour cream is ready!
